The Original Fire-Starting Necklace

The Bushcraft™ Necklace is inspired by the tried and true method of traditional fire-making. Designed using Zirconia Ceramic, a custom-made Ferro Rod, and rich Mahogany leather, this necklace looks good and functions even better.

Starting a fire with the Bushcraft Necklace™ and a small bundle of tinder is a straightforward process even for those new to fire-starting.

Each Bushcraft Necklace™ comes packaged with a small bundle of jute for use as a natural tinder to start your first flame.

IGNITE A FIRE

Gather your tinder and quickly scrape the Ceramic Pendant along the Ferro Rod Toggle to create sparks. We suggest scraping the back side of ferro rod to keep the front looking nice and pretty.

Don't hesitate to use your necklace because if you ever wear out the ferro rod, it can be replaced!

FERRO ROD TOGGLE

  • Custom designed ferrocerium toggle
  • Ferrocerium toggle can be scraped slowly to produce flammable shavings or scraped quickly to throw sparks
  • Shavings burn at 5,500F (3,000C)
  • Diameter 0.3" (8mm) x Length 1" (25mm)

CERAMIC SCRAPER

  • Made of Zirconia Ceramic
  • Used to scrape Ferro Rod to produce shavings or sparks
  • Will not dull or corrode

ADJUSTABLE KNOTS

  • Sliding Double Fisherman's Knots allow for quick sizing adjustments
  • Knots adjusts the necklace length from 14" to 26" inches
