Ferro Rod with Hile

I bought two of these as backup fire starters. The drilled hole makes it easy to slide on my keychain. The other one lives on a survival necklace I wear when hiking. Throws great sparks. Overall, very satisfied with this ferro rod.

Great addition to my EDC gear

Basic firesteel with a lanyard hole. I have added one to my keychain and have placed others in my bags. Definitely a cheap option to squirrel away backup Firestarters incase of an emergency.

These work well

These little ferro rods do work well. I have big hands (I'm 6'7") and was able to start a fire with it. I attached it to some cordage that I could get a grip on and that helped a lot. I just added it to my EDC survival kit.
