Strong, Useful, and Versatile Rubber Bands

Ranger Bands are super strong, super durable EPDM rubber bands, which are well-known for being useful in camping, hiking, and survival activities. Ranger Bands are said to have been first adopted by Army “Rangers”, hence the name. These simple bands have been widely embraced by the public, especially outdoorsmen, as an all-around, must-have device, joining the ranks of paracord, duct tape, and cable ties as smart survival tools.

We designed these bands to our specifications. Made of EPDM, the toughest rubber available, it resists cracking from heat, UV exposure, and saltwater.

Ranger Bands are available for your kits in 3 sizes. See Specs for sizing details.

We also offer a Combo Pack (30 total per bag) - 10 x Small, 10 x Medium, 10 x Large

  • Size Small - 1.00” (Flat Length) x 0.688” (Wide) = Approximately 0.5” Diameter
  • Size Medium - 1.25” (Flat Length) x 0.875” (Wide) = Approximately 0.7” Diameter
  • Size Large - 2.5” (Flat Length) x 1” (Wide) = Approximately 1.5” Diameter
  • EPDM Rubber - Resists Cracking From Heat, UV Exposure, and Saltwater

Ranger Band uses are only limited by the needs and ingenuity of the person possessing them. Like us, we're sure you’ll find yourself putting them on every item you have laying around. The high "stretchability" and weather durability of these make them easy to carry and easy to use. Remember, each band can be cut thinner to multiply the quantity and uses.

You can use ranger bands for:

  • Rubberized Grip (Knives, Flashlights, Bottle Caps, Handles, Knobs)
  • Shock Absorber (Battery Chargers, Walkie Talkies, Bottles)
  • Coiling Strap (Cables, Cords, Webbing, Tarps)
  • Bundling Band (Tent Stakes, Camp Utensils, Keyring Tools)
  • Attachment Band (Ferro Rod on Knife Sheaths, Tourniquets)

Surprisingly Useful

I really love these. The small ones are great for adding tools to paracord bracelets, tools, etc… The larger ones I used to secure kits and bundle items. Get them and you’ll see all kinds of uses. I haven’t tried out their use as tinder but intend to test it out.

Hi Jason, We're glad to hear you found good use for them! We appreciate the review!

Robust and really useful

Most people know what Ranger bands are, but these are really robust and are useful for so many things. I use the small ones to sit around my Bic lighter for tinder and a mid size to store items on my Mora sheath.

Those are great uses for them! Thanks so much for the review!

Great little tool

Works great to silence rattles, keeps things together, many uses for such a simple tool.

These ranger bands are so handy, nearly limitless uses. These also seem a little thicker than most so I’m guessing they will hold up longer

Keeping it all together!

These are great. Durable and able to keep all my gear tied down. Great for holding gear on a knife sheath or to your wallet.
