Drawing inspiration from flint & steel fire starters, the Spark Necklace™ is a wearable, pendant made of high-tech, modern materials that make starting a fire quick and easy. This fire-starting necklace incorporates our custom-designed ceramic scraper and ferro rod that are guaranteed to spark a fire, no matter the weather.

Our custom designed, removable clasp not only allows you to replace a worn-out ferro rod, but it also allows you to cut the leather to any length and reattach it, giving your necklace a truly perfect fit.

FERRO ROD

Throw a huge shower of super-heated sparks with our custom soft mixture of Ferrocerium. One Ferro Rod can last thousands of strikes, so test it, use it, and replace it when needed.

CERAMIC PENDANT

Confidently carry this ceramic scraper knowing it will never rust or dull. It works wet or dry, and It's 10x harder than steel so it can be used to debur axes and knives, or even to break a car window in an emergency.

A stylish and functional tool you'll actually want to wear.

Wazoo has done it yet again with this wonderfully simple, easy to use, everyday wearable. Not only does it excel as a fire starter, but the ceramic scraper actually does very well at de-burring blades as well. (Can confirm as I just did this a few days ago with my Gransfors Bruk Outdoor Axe and Scandi Forest Axe.) It looks good as an every day wearable and is just plain and simple. If you're on the fence about getting one, do it. You won't be disappointed. -Austin

Never left my neck

Second one, because the first was so amazing!

I had the original Spark and wore it daily for years. So much so, I eventually had to replace the cord. It's still going strong, but when the chance for one with a clasp came up, I had to take it. I've used this (mostly the old one, which is going to my son) to start so many campfires, wood stoves, and grills I've lost track. It's always on me, always ready to go. I wear it with my Viking and love to respond when people ask what my necklaces mean. "It means I can start a fire anywhere and keep my knife sharp!"
