How do I use the Viking Spark™ to sharpen a blade?
The whetstone pendant on the Viking Spark™ is crafted from genuine Arkansas Novaculite, providing a portable knife and tool sharpener that you can wear every day.
To use it, wet the stone by dipping it in water or by using saliva. Using the back of the whetstone, draw the edge of your knife or tool along the whetstone pendant at a slight angle, using light, consistent circular strokes. Make sure to flip the blade to get a consistent sharpness.
The stone has multiple grinds that allow you to hone both small EDC blades, hooks, and larger field tools, keeping your gear sharp wherever adventure takes you.

Salt water and sweat can corrode the Ferro Rod after an extended amount of time, so be sure to rinse the necklace with fresh water and move the ferrocerium rod up and down the leather to remove residue from all parts of the necklace.
