So far I have enjoyed having my viking spark. Now I will say you won't put a razors edge on your knife but you will have a sharp edge to cut with. I have used mine several times at work and home. I am one rough SOB on a knife, should have be a knife tester. I fully recommend having one, I gave the better half one for a present and even she keeps hers close, she has save on buying scissors lol.
