If you consistently maintain the edge on your blades, like a pocket knife, then you can usually avoid the aggressive material-removing sharpening process. That's why we created (or stole from the Vikngs) the idea of a portable sharpener. However, we took it a few steps further and made it a cool-looking conversation starter!
The patented Viking Whetstone Pendant modernizes a traditional Viking tool for sharpening and honing blades and tools. Unlike other whetstones, this pendant-style necklace features 4 different grinds, giving you the power to sharpen all your EDC tools, whenever they need it. Each stone is hand-picked, so no two stones are exactly the same. Style it how you want and make it as unique as you are.
MADE FROM ONLY THE BEST NOVACULITE
Not all whetstones are created equal. That's why we've gone direct to the source and quarried world-famous genuine Arkansas Novaculite for all of our pendants. Arkansas Novaculite has a medium fineness (600-800 relative grit size), making it a great general-purpose fieldstone for knife-edge maintenance. Unsure of that last sentence? All that means is that it will work great when honing all of your everyday blades.

COLOR
- Pattern stones will have a unique design highlighting the natural colors of the stone that was quarried. These patterned stones often include black, blue, grey, and even pink colors. No two stones are the same.
- Plain stones will be predominantly white or gray in color and have much less, if any, of the naturally occurring color pattern. They are perfect for someone who prefers a solid color.
