10 Years of Wazoo!

It's hard to believe that it's been 10 years since we, Dustin & Nick, joined forces to launch this little thing called Wazoo. Time flies when you're having fun, and we've had a blast building a business from the ground up. However, we can attest that building a successful business is no easy feat. In fact, according to the Small Business Administration, only about 20% of small businesses make it to their 10th anniversary. So, we're part of a pretty exclusive club and we couldn't have done it without the support of our customers and our team.

When we first started out we had a dream of creating quality, wearable tool kits for outdoor enthusiasts. We wanted to make gear that embodied the true balance of practicality, style, and function. We're proud to say that we've accomplished just that, and we're constantly pushing ourselves to do even better.

We've come a long way since our early days in Nick's garage and we've had the privilege of seeing our products used in some pretty incredible places. From the base of Mount Everest to the scorching depths of the Grand Canyon, our gear has been put to the test and passed with flying colors. We even created a world map where we track some of the most awe-inspiring places and things folks have done with our gear, just check out our Worldwide Scavenger Hunt!

Not every product started out looking how they do today. So here's a quick trip down memory lane to show the beginnings of some of our favorites.

As we look back on the past 10 years, we're filled with gratitude for all of the people who have supported us and helped us to get to where we are today. We've also had the pleasure of working with some of the most talented and passionate people in the industry, who continue to help us improve our products and grow our brand. Ultimately, we have many people to thank, including (but not limited to) our customers, ambassadors, industry partners, dealers, and especially our small but wildly capable team members!

There's still lots to more we want to accomplish as a business, most importantly around our mission, of increasing every individual’s capability. At the Wazoo HQ we will continue testing, improving, and designing gear that gives people the power to do more with what they wear every day. Of course, we'll be having a few more beers along the way but that's when our best ideas come to life!
